Inflammation

Markers we Test:

High-Sensitivity C-Reactive Protein (hs-CRP)
A sensitive marker of inflammation. Elevated levels are linked to heart disease, metabolic dysfunction, and chronic illness.

Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR)
Measures how quickly red blood cells settle. A general indicator of inflammation or infection in the body.

Systemic Immune-Inflammation Index (SII)
Calculated from blood counts to reflect immune balance and systemic inflammation. Higher values suggest greater immune stress.

Ferritin-to-Albumin Ratio (FAR)
Combines iron storage and protein status. Elevated ratios are associated with inflammation, oxidative stress, and poor outcomes in chronic disease.

Monocyte-to-HDL Ratio (MHR)
Links immune cell activity with protective HDL levels. Higher ratios are tied to cardiovascular and inflammatory risk.

CRP / Albumin Ratio (CAR)
Balances inflammatory activity with protein reserves. A higher ratio indicates stronger systemic inflammation.

Platelet-to-Lymphocyte Ratio
Assesses immune response and clotting activity together. Elevated ratios are associated with chronic inflammation and disease severity.

Systemic Inflammation Response Index (SIRI)
A composite marker from immune cell counts. Tracks low-grade inflammation and risk of chronic diseases.
